Digital Natural Sound, established in 1997 by Michele "Xenomorph" Gaggia, is a multi-award winning recording, mixing and mastering studio / music production facility located in Piding (Germany) near Bad Reichenhall and about 15 min. drive from Salzburg (Austria).
At Digital Natural Sound we combine excellent acoustic spaces, advanced audio technology and sound engineering together with over 30 years experience in professional music production and a deep love and passion for music. Our goal is to produce recordings at the state-of-the-art, where excellent sound quality meets the most refined artistic performance.

Recording | Editing
Great recordings start with great performances. Our goal is to capture them with maximum clarity and authenticity or, when desired, with a deliberate Vintage, Retro or Lo‑Fi aesthetic. Understanding the musical style and its emotional intent guides every decision in our recording and sound‑design process.
We provide state‑of‑the‑art digital multitrack recording for any ensemble size: soloists, chamber groups, jazz and pop/rock bands, up to full symphonic orchestra with choir. Sessions can be recorded live or in the studio with overdubs.
All equipment is selected to match the instruments, the musical style and the acoustics of the chosen location. Because we use only our own gear, every component is maintained and certified for reliable, top‑tier performance.
During the session, we offer artistic direction, ensuring musical precision, technical quality and optimal performance conditions. In editing, the best takes are combined with meticulous attention to phrasing, dynamics, color and timing. High-end mixing and mastering complete the production to the highest professional standards.

Mixing and mastering shape the final identity of a production. Beyond capturing a great performance, this stage defines clarity, emotional impact and artistic personality. A well‑crafted mix can elevate a good recording and transform a great one into something unforgettable.
In classical and jazz music, the goal is to recreate the depth and excitement of a live performance, blending multiple sources into a coherent and natural soundstage. In pop, rock, and electronic music styles, mixing becomes a creative process that influences arrangement, energy and narrative.
We sculpt the sonic image with precise control of balance, panorama, width, color, depth and dynamic range. The musical taste and intention guides all the technical and artistic decisions: focus the listener’s attention, avoid clutter, maintain interest, and give the production a unique sound signature.
Our studio offers high‑end mixing and mastering for all formats: Stereo, 5.1, 7.1 Surround and 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, including ADM master delivery.
Advanced editing, spectral repair, pitch and time correction are available when required to refine the performance.
